This is one reason why deputizing citizens won’t work.
Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested in Antioch, Illinois. Court records indicate he was booked for first-degree homicide in relation to the Kenosha shooting. It appears he’s been assigned a public defender and is set to appear in court for an extradition hearing later this week.

If you can’t act accordingly without letting your emotions and political views get in the way, then there is no reason you should even consider being a citizens cop.
I get that we support the cops but honestly at that point it becomes a huge liability for a police department and only adds more fuel to the fire. Let the cops do their jobs.
Again, this why WE DON’T want to DEFUND the police, it gives people like Kyle the idea that the police need them to step in and help, when they’re not properly trained and fit for the job.
There seems to be confusion as some people have called it self defense.
FACTS: Kyle shot someone and ran, the protesters ran after him to stop him, once the struggle began he shot even more.
In another video recorded, a teen who appears to be Rittenhouse is seen walking away from an injured protester on the ground, talking on a cellphone.
As he jogs away, the audio includes screaming and a voice says “I just killed someone.”
In one video, Rittenhouse is seen running through a crowd of people in a street. One person appears to yell “That guy shot someone.” He trips and falls, and, as several people move close to him, he’s seen opening fire.
“I noticed him the entire time. He didn’t seem like he was there with anyone,” he said. “He was armed. He didn’t seem like he was a threat, but I thought maybe I should keep an eye on him.”
Let the cops do their job.
